Haze Cartel is a UK-based online retailer of smoking accessories and lifestyle goods sold strictly to adults aged 18 and over. This notice sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and explains the safety, age and legal rules that apply to every purchase.

1. Strictly 18+ — age restriction

Everything we sell is intended for use by adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to browse, register, place an order, or take delivery from Haze Cartel. We verify age at the door via our Age Verification step and again at checkout and on delivery, where our couriers may ask for photo ID.

Orders placed by anyone under 18, or on behalf of someone under 18 (proxy purchases), will be cancelled and refunded. Knowingly buying age-restricted products for a minor is a criminal offence in the UK.

2. Responsible use

Our products are sold for lawful, personal, adult use. By placing an order you agree to use the items you purchase responsibly and in line with all applicable UK laws and local regulations.

• Keep products out of reach of children, young people and pets.
• Do not use products in a way that endangers yourself or others.
• Do not modify products in ways that make them unsafe.
• Follow any manufacturer instructions, warnings and care guidance supplied with the item.

3. Legal compliance

Haze Cartel does not sell, supply or condone the use of controlled substances. All products listed on the site are legal to sell in the United Kingdom at the time of listing. They are not intended for use with any substance that is illegal under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016, or any other UK legislation.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of any item purchased from us complies with the laws of your country, region or local area. If you are outside the UK, please check local restrictions before ordering — some items we sell legally in the UK may be restricted elsewhere.

4. Product safety

We take product safety seriously. Items sold on Haze Cartel are sourced from established UK and EU wholesalers and, where applicable, comply with the relevant UK product safety standards. Despite this, any product can pose a risk if it is misused, damaged or used by someone it isn't designed for.

• Glass items — handle with care. Glass can shatter if dropped, knocked or exposed to rapid temperature change. Inspect each item before use and stop using it if it becomes chipped or cracked.
• Heat & flame — never leave lighters, torches or anything alight unattended. Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
• Batteries & electronics — only use the charger supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. Do not overcharge, expose to water, or use a device that shows signs of damage.
• Cleaning & chemicals — keep cleaning products in their original packaging and away from food, children and pets. Follow the label.

If you believe a product you've received is faulty or unsafe, please stop using it immediately and contact us so we can investigate and arrange a refund or replacement under your statutory rights.

5. Restricted sales

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in full or in part, where:

• The buyer cannot satisfy our 18+ age verification.
• We have reasonable grounds to believe the order is a proxy sale for a minor.
• The delivery address is in a region where the item cannot lawfully be sold or shipped.
• The order appears fraudulent or breaches our Terms & Conditions.
• The product has been listed in error, is out of stock, or has been withdrawn from sale.

Where we cancel an order under this section, any payment taken will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

7. Reporting a concern

If you believe a Haze Cartel product has caused harm, or you'd like to report a suspected underage purchase or misuse of our site, please email hello@hazecartel.co.uk as soon as possible with as much detail as you can share. We take every report seriously and will respond promptly.
