Age Verification Policy

Our 18+ commitment

Haze Cartel only sells to customers aged 18 or over. We will refuse, cancel or void any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe the customer or the intended recipient is underage. No refund will be given for orders cancelled on age-verification grounds where false information was supplied.

Three-step verification

1. On entry to the site

Every visitor must confirm they are 18 or over via our age gate before browsing the shop. If you select "No, I'm under 18" you'll be politely blocked from accessing the site and asked to leave.

2. At checkout

By placing an order you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and that the named recipient is also 18 or over. We may perform an electronic age verification check using the details you provide. Orders that fail this check will be held and you'll be contacted before any dispatch.

3. On delivery

Our couriers may request photo ID on delivery. Valid ID includes a UK driving licence, a passport or a PASS-accredited proof-of-age card. If no one aged 18 or over is available to receive the parcel, it will be taken back to the local depot for redelivery or collection.

If you are under 18

Haze Cartel is not for you. Please leave the site and do not attempt to order, either in your own name or anyone else's. If you need help or someone to talk to, organisations like FRANK and Childline are free, confidential and available 24/7 in the UK.

Selling to minors is illegal

Selling tobacco, vaping and smoking-related products to anyone under 18 is a criminal offence in the UK under the Children and Young Persons (Protection from Tobacco) Act 1991 and related legislation. We work with our payment and delivery partners to prevent it, and we will cooperate fully with Trading Standards or any other competent authority.

Buying on behalf of a minor (proxy sales)

It is also illegal to buy smoking accessories on behalf of someone under 18. Don't do it. Orders we believe are being placed as proxy sales will be cancelled and may be reported.
